Research On The Warning Mechanism Of University Students' Academic Misconduct In America

With the development of our society,the investment on education of our country has been ever-growing.The scale and amount of higher education has also significantly increased.While,many people are worried about the quality of university students and the academic misconduct has become the spotlight.Although many universities around the world exit the phenomena of academic misconduct of different degrees,the research on academic misconduct starts early in the U.S.and has developed a relatively mature management system.Thus it has a meaningful reference value to our countries' research on academic misconduct to a great extent.This research adopt literature review method,comparative research and the case method to collect and analyses the relative materials of the warning and governance mechanism of American university students academic misconduct.And we introduced the warning mechanism from three aspects: national laws,school system and organizational level.Then we trace to analyses the case and investigation procedure and draw on the reasonable and scientific experience in order to propose the advise and improvement approach for our country's academic misconduct of university students so as to purify academic atmosphere,improve academic mechanism and establish a whole and sound academic system and atmosphere.The first part was based on the theory of coordinating management and educational administration-Hot stove rule to analyses warning mechanism of university students' academic misconduct in America,and then it comes to a conclusion that the prevention of academic misconduct need to multi-cooperate to form a linkage mechanism and need a strict punishment system and measures to guarantee the purity of academic environment.The second part of this paper analyses the forewarning measures preventing the academic misconduct.We reference the data from three aspects: national law,school system and related organization to analyses the endeavor and construction American try to do and made a specific analyses about the preventing measures of academic misconduct.The third part was about the specific cases related to academic misconduct.And we analyses the warning mechanism and investigation procedure by introducing the management experience and treatment measures of related department to learn to experience reflect the problems.The last part put forward some treatment measures and management advise about the academic misconduct for our country from the following aspect:society,government,university and teachers themselves.We appeal to form a academic disciplinary linkage mechanism and each performs its own functions to make joint effort to establish a whole and sound academic system and atmosphere.
