Ideological and Ethical Education not only is the most vital supporter for the implement of moral education in the middle school stage,but also plays an important role in the perfection of personality and cultivation of behaviors and habits of students.This article tries to search countermeasures about how the Doctrine of the Mean can be applied in the Ideological and Ethical Education better via the analysis of connotation and content of the Ideological and Ethical Education,in addition,it will discuss some comprehension and opinions about deficiency that the Doctrine of the Mean is applied in Ideological and Ethical Education.Finally,it hopes to supply a new view and inject some new ideas for the development of the traditional culture.This article mainly consists of three parts.In the first part,it describes the necessity that the Doctrine of the Mean melts into the Ideological and Ethical Education.From the connotation and moral value of the Ideological and Ethical Education,it analyzes the total requirement of the Ideological and Ethical Education in middle school deeply,and then to explain the necessity that the Doctrine of the Mean melts into the Ideological and Ethical Education of middle schools from three respects: the middle school students,the teaching of the Ideological and Ethical Education and the traditional culture.In the second part,it analyzes the present situation that the Doctrine of the Mean is applied in the Ideological and Ethical Education of middle schools.By the interviews with teachers and attendance of lessons in the practice school,the writer gains a real understanding about the specific infiltration of the Doctrine of the Mean in the Ideological and EthicalEducation to analyze the deficiency that the Doctrine of the Mean is applied in Ideological and Ethical Education of middle schools.In the third part,it makes countermeasures for the deficiency that the Doctrine of the Mean is applied in Ideological and Ethical Education of middle schools.The colleges and universities should promote Doctrine of the Mean work;schools should attach importance to the teaching of Doctrine of the Mean,build an environment of the infiltration of the Doctrine of the Mean,and strengthen the training of professional teachers;teachers should improve the attainment in the Doctrine of the Mean education,optimize the teaching methods and perfect their teaching design;in addition,students should strengthen the study of the Doctrine of the Mean.Only by combining these four respects can the infiltration value of the Doctrine of the Mean in the Ideological and Ethical Education be improved.
