A Study Of Cultivation Of Students' Key Competencies In Junior High School English Curriculum

The constant development of society leads to the increasing demand for talents.The quality education advocated by our country in the late twentieth Century is an important measure to improve the quality of the people.The cultivation of key competencies in recent years has been a strengthening and upgrading of quality education.This paper takes the implementation of English Curriculum in Yangzhong Foreign Language Middle School as the research object,and explores the strategies for cultivating junior middle school students' key competencies.The introduction part elaborated the research background of this paper and the effective strategy of key competencies in junior high school teaching in this research purpose,and Research on domestic and foreign key competencies are summarized,and expounds the research methods and the key problems to be solved.The second part analyzes the basic knowledge of the research needs of the key competencies,key competencies of English discipline,elements of key competencies of English discipline,and it relies on people's all-round development of learning theory,humanistic theory,constructivism theory,which lays the foundation for the subsequent writing.Then this paper introduces the implementation of English Curriculum in Yangzhong Foreign Language Middle School,and analyzes the current situation and problems of the training of key competencies of students in junior middle school English curriculum,based on the investigation of the teachers and students,and analyzes the factors hindering of training students' key competencies,mainly pointing to the one-sided understanding of the value of learning,pragmatism that pays too much attention to fractions,too much emphasis on scores the utilitarian English ability competition and negative nonintelligence factors etc..Finally,on the basis of the above,this paper puts forward the strategies of cultivating key competencies of students from the perspectives of curriculum,objectives,teachers,teaching model,evaluation and culture.Finally,the summary and Prospect of this paper are given.
