With the further development of modernization and market-oriented economic reform,China's economic development has entered a new normal.The essential orientation of optimizing industrial structure and accelerating economic restructuring is to implement the strategy of innovation-driven development and strengthen structural reform of the supply front.However due to the weakness of China's vocational education,the lack of professional technical personnel has increasingly become a bottleneck in industrial advancement.In order to speed up the progress in the whole country,in 2014,the central government proposed a strategy by issuing <Decision of the state council on accelerating the development of modern vocational education>.The Economic Development Area(EDA for short),as a product of the reform and opening has made great contributions to social development and opening up.It,as a frontier of area development,has a character of industrial agglomeration and a high demand for professionals,thus it should and has to explore a way to speed up the development of modern vocational education.This paper focuses on the study of strategies EDA Administrative Committee uses in promoting modern vocational education and is based on the theories of public administration,management and economics,uses Suzhou Industrial Park Administrative Committee for example.It's composed of 5 parts including definitions,present situations and experience,key problems,suggestions and advices and aims at forging a more effective strategy to promote the modern vocational education in the zone.
