A Research On The Middle School Of English Teachers' Teaching Abilities

Teaching ability is the basic ability of English teachers,and the teaching quality of the school is strongly influenced by the teaching ability of teachers.The subject of this study is the teaching ability of English teachers in middle schools around the China,investigating the teaching ability of middle school English teachers in townships and towns by a scientific method.This study research middle English teachers at the town of Y city through the form of questionnaire and interview.Data analysis is used to study middle school English teachers' teaching ability at Y city township,and analyzes the problems of English teachers' teaching ability at the town of Y city.We also find the problems how to cause and how to solve,and in this way to improve middle school English teachers' teaching ability of Y city township.This study is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction.This paper mainly introduces the background and significance of English teachers' teaching ability.The main point is to systematically collate and comb the relevant literature of English teachers' teaching ability,and put forward to the methods of research and specific research questions.The second part is the investigation and analysis of the villages and towns middle school English teachers' teaching ability,and the contents of middle school English teachers teaching ability are as follows: the English language knowledge,the ability of teaching designation,teaching ability,the evaluation of teaching,the introspection and research of teaching ability.Analyzing the status of Y city township middle school English teachers' teaching ability and the impact of background factors on it.The results of study show that the teaching ability of English teachers in towns and villages in Y city is not bad,but the teaching reflection and research ability are lacking.The third part is to analyze the cause of the problems of middle school English teachers' teaching abilities.Combining with the results of investigation and the interview,the reasons are divided into two aspects: schools(normal colleges and work schools),English teachers.The fourth part is how to improve the teaching ability of the English teachers in township schools.This paper mainly puts forward solutions from three aspects: national and social aspects,school and teachers aspects.
