"Localness" is not only a place where individual survives and lives,but also where individual can get breathtaking,impresstion and deep emotion,and accept benefit in terms of existance.Native education can enrich students' knowledge,The formation of the most basic local awareness,as well as develop students' native patriotism,build their native identity,finally,promote their own development,creat a spiritual home.In this paper,the classics and teaching materials are taken as the research carrier,and the local contents of the high school Chinese textbooks in Taiwan are summarized from the perspective of "local" and analyze the reason why the Taiwanese works aren't chosen into the Chinese textbooks.The first section,starting from the concept of "local",discusses its history and cultural background,tell the values of the local speciality.The second section refers to the<Taiwan's high school syllabus>and<Chinese>textbook,forming a basement for the later analysis.The third section makes a detailed introduction about the related local contents in syllabus and textbook.The final section mainly discusses about the reason why the Taiwanese works aren't chosen into the Chinese textbooks.
