| In recent years, the trend of the flow of migrants in China has become increasingly obvious, and the research on the willingness of the floating population has also attracted people’s attention. With the implementation of the national new urbanization strategy, how to promote the migration of migrants into the town and to guide the flow of population from the central and western regions of the recent urbanization has become the population and human geography and other related disciplines of important issues of common concern. The study of the return of floating population in this context is more important to its significance, especially in the western region of the floating population into the eastern coastal areas after the return of the willingness of the situation, interested in permanent settlement in the eastern coastal areas of the floating population with what characteristics,as well as the characteristics of the floating population intended to return to the central and western regions. The discussion of these issues and the policy implications of the problem, have an important role in promoting the process of Urbanization. At the same time, most studies have so far been limited to the attention of the floating population itself, often less consideration of the floating population after the return of geographical selection, and this issue in the deepening of the central and western regions of the process of urbanization is of great significance, especially the current floating population selection out of the region as a return area of the phenomenon of the region is the current guide to the central and western regions of the population on the spot near the urbanization must pay attention to an important trend.Based on the above analysis, this paper explores the return intention of migrant workers in the central and western regions and the influencing factors of the return intention through descriptive statistics and statistical regression model, using the data of floating population survey in Fujian Province in 2015.The results show that:Firstly, the return willingness of the migrant migrant workers in the central and western regions of China shows a three-dimensional differentiation state which does not return, reflow and difficult to decide. The return is one of the main choices of the floating population in the central and western regions. It is difficult to decide whether it is the current central and western an important feature in the decision-making of rural migrant employment.Secondly, the willingness of migrant migrant workers in the central and western regions is the result of the interaction of individual characteristics, family characteristics,socio-economic characteristics and regional environment. The longer the length of education in the individual characteristic variables, the longer the stay time, the higher the proportion of households in the household characteristics variables, the higher the monthly household income, the migrant employment do not tend to return.Thirdly, the floating population in the central and western regions is mainly inclined to return to the location of the outbound village(neighborhood)committee, and it is planned to return to the outflow village(neighborhood)committee, the proportion of the urban area within the province is relatively low.Fourly, the geographical selection of the migrant population in the central and western regions is mainly affected by the characteristics of the family and the regional environment. The number of households in the family characteristic variable is higher, the household income is lower, and the influx of the regional environment variable large cities and large cities in type I,now living in the inflow of rural areas, hometown account area in the rural mobile employment population is more inclined to return to the outflow of the village(neighborhood)committee. Finally,in view of the above conclusions, put forword the relevant policy implications. |
