Case Studies On Medical Social Work Involving Migrant Workers' Children In Shenzhen E Hospital

After entering the twenty-first Century,the process of urbanization in China is accelerating.More and more rural residents enter cities to seek opportunities for development.They also play a great role in the construction and development of cities,and their collective names are also changing from peasant workers to migrant workers.Although the city has given some convenient conditions for them to come to work,however,they can not get the same treatment as urban residents in some important areas of life,such as child care.The occurrence of severe illness for the whole family into a miserable situation.The treatment of disease makes children feel physical and psychological pain,and also brings heavy economic and mental pressure to their parents.At the same time,it also makes our medical resources increasingly tense,and the contradiction between doctors and patients is more and more prominent.Patients are eager to get more psycho social care,but the current "biological medicine"treatment model is difficult to meet the needs of children and parents.As a self-help professional,medical social work can be "patient centered",and plays an important role in the rational allocation of resources for the early recovery of children.At the same time,medical social work is an integral part of the hospital treatment team,rehabilitation therapy can use professional intervention patients,to provide a comprehensive psychological nursing knowledge and cognitive correction for children and their parents,on the other hand,actively improve the living environment for children with families seeking medical assistance resources,construction of families of children with social support system children.In order to improve the effect of the children's rehabilitation,the family restores the normal state of life in the past.In this study,the children of migrant workers who came to help children in Shenzhen E hospital were selected as the research objects.The field investigation and case intervention were used to explore the problems and difficulties they faced in the process of seeking medical treatment.This paper is divided into five parts from the structure.The first part is the introduction.It focuses on the background and significance of Medical Social Work Intervening in the medical treatment of migrant workers' children.In order to increase energy theory,cognitive theory and social support theory as a theoretical guidance in the work.In the second part,the present situation and predicament of the children of migrant workers were analyzed.This paper summarizes the difficulties faced by migrant workers' children in their medical treatment,their psychological and behavioral dilemmas,the dilemma of self-labeling,and the predicament of social support.The third part is the practical analysis of the intervention of medical social work,and the practical intervention analysis of two cases is carried out by the method of general process model.The fourth part analyzes the practical difficulties of medical social work intervention,focusing on the ethical dilemma faced by medical social workers during the intervention process.The fifth part is the countermeasures and suggestions.Aiming at the difficulties faced in the intervention,the specific solutions and strategies are put forward from the medical social work professional level,the government policy level and the relevant NGO level.
