In Korea,junior high school Chinese Characters course as well as the high school Chinese language course both are related to Chinese Characters learning.Since both the courses have many associations,thus,a lot of people mistakenly think that they are similar.Even though,both are covering Chinese Characters,but its educational objective and content both are different.If learner can correctly distinguish and understand these two courses,that can minimize the impeding factors,occurring in the learning process,produce a positive transfer effect,as well as achieve mutual supplementary effect.This thesis,moving from the particular angle,will conduct a survey in three Korean schools,where such courses are open,collect questionnaires data of the 180 students and try to explore positive impact of Chinese Characters learning accumulation in the junior high school Chinese Characters course,on the high school Chinese Language course.Through the data collection,statistical induction and related analysis,it occurred that there is a presence of a close association between junior high school Chinese Characters course and high school Chinese language course.Therefore,this research is striving to present more clear direction and goals on how to achieve effective associative learning in these two courses,increase students level of interest,also,make a full use of the close attention by Korean Ministry of Education to the Chinese Characters learning,improving the practicality,effectiveness,accessibility of the junior high school Chinese Characters course and thereby improve,expand and understand vocabulary mastery of high school Chinese language course.For the better combination use of the two courses,author also presents some related suggestions and learning strategies,with the hope that this brief research can lead more Korean students to put emphasis on Chinese characters learning and language use.
