What kind of reference books are needed during the process of Chinese teaching in High School? What contents should be referred in the books? How can we search for the relative books? What kind of practical utility is employed in the reference books? Concerning these issues,the research achievements of domestic academic circles are few relatively,and most of them are discussed from the perceptive of students,which may confuse some Chinese teachers working in the High School when they make use of reference books.In 2018,New Curriculum Standards focusing on Chinese in High School emphasizes the content of ancient poetry,which demands that teachers should take advantages of reference books as much as possible.Chinese teaching in High School is quite different from that in middle and primary school.It means that the longer selection and the more diversified content of Chinese textbooks used in High School can bring about hundreds of questions for teachers during the process of analyzing text and lecturing,which requires teachers to explain the right and wrong and understand the sense of words profoundly with the help of reference books.To solve the problems that Chinese teachers working in High School may encounter during the use of reference books,and to insure that they can get the utmost out of the books,we selected the usage of reference books by Chinese teachers in High School as the research subject.Setting 3 provincial mode,1 municipal mode and 3 ordinary High Schools in Anshan as the samples of investigation,we collected questionnaires including 26 questions with the range of multiple aspects focusing on the use of reference books for teachers.According tothe study,it is discovered that most of books employed by Chinese teachers are homogeneous with undefined scale,and teachers are deficient in information integration and even some of them are reluctant to utilize the reference books.For the corresponding problems above,we propose a succession of resolution strategies,which pay attention to specifying the scope,making the appropriate options,mastering the pragmatic methods and holding the proper criteria of the reference books.
