Classical Chinese is the focus of Chinese teaching insenior high school and an important part of teaching materials and college entrance examination questions.Words are the basis of classicalChinese,only by mastering the meaning of classical Chinese words can we understand the connotation of classical Chinese.Therefore,in the process of learning classical Chinese,the teaching of classical Chinese words is very important.To learn classical Chinese words well,in addition to teachers explain,but also learn to make good use of Chinese reference books.The language reference book is the teacher's desk consultant,is the student's study assistant,has the irreplaceable function in the classical Chinese teaching and the study.Based on the general high school curriculum standard,under the guidance of constructivism learning theory and learning transfer theory,this paper uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method,case analysis method and induction method,and takes the ancient Chinese common word dictionary as an example to explore the application of Chinese reference books in the teaching of classical Chinese in senior high school.Through the investigation of teachers and students using reference books in practice schools,we find out the main problems and put forward some countermeasures.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the full text is divided into four parts:In the first part,the paper investigates the application status of the dictionary of common Chinese characters in classical Chinese teaching.It mainly includes the design and implementation of the questionnaire and the data statistics.In the second part,the paper analyzes the current situation of the application of the dictionary in classical Chinese teaching in senior high school,and summarizes the merits and problems of the application of the dictionary in senior high school.The survey found that teachers and students have a recognized attitude towards the common Chinese word dictionary,and there are some problems in the process of using it,such as: students are not interested in Chinese reference books,the frequency of using the common Chinese word dictionary is too low;teachers lack guidance and do not develop the habit of frequent reference books.In the third part,the author analyzes the causes of the problems in the application of the dictionary in classical Chinese teaching in senior high school from the perspective of teachers and students.The cause of the problem from the aspect ofstudents is that students are not interested in classical Chinese,can not use Chinese reference books,and the utilitarian motivation of examination-oriented is too strong;from the aspect of teachers,the main cause of the problem is that teachers pay less attention to it,ignore the use of dictionaries,and ignore the foundation.In the fourth part,the application strategy and effect of the dictionary of common Chinese characters in classical Chinese teaching in senior high school.Firstly,it puts forward some teaching strategies,such as guiding students to learn independently,increasing the frequency of using dictionaries,developing comprehensive learning,and arousing students' interest in learning.Secondly,it discusses the application of Old Chinese Dictionary in classical Chinese teaching in senior high school through practical teaching cases.Finally,it analyzes the effect of applying strategies in classical Chinese teaching,such as enhancing students' interest and ability in using dictionaries,enhancing students' speculative thinking and analytical ability,increasing the number of classical Chinese words and improving students' ability of classical Chinese translation ability,etc.
