The new “Historical Curriculum Standard(Experiment Manuscript)” divides the teaching goals into three parts: knowledge and abilities,processes and methods,emotions and values,known as “three-dimension goal”.It makes requirements for the enhancement of knowledge,the cultivation of proper attitude about the life,the value and the world.It also increasingly pays special attention on the thoughts of exploring problems.Thus,it is essential to make full use of local historic resources applied in history teaching.As is known,the past history is far from the students' life today,which is urgent and difficult to be solved in history teaching of middle schools.But faced with heavy teaching tasks and examinations,how to spread local history in the middle schools should be attached more importance..Hanzhong is abundant in historic and cultural resources,especially famous for the cultural heritage from Han Dynasty and Three Kingdoms.This paper will discuss about the local history teaching in Hanzhong in terms of Three Kingdoms' culture.The introduction shows current studies about local history teaching home and abroad and the significance of this study,suggesting that it remains necessary to make a research to local history teaching.Chapter one analyses the survey of the current local history teaching in Hanzhong middle schools in details.By showing the data in the survey,this thesis probes into some problems in terms of schools,teachers and students.Chapter two summarizes material and non-material resources related to Three Kingdoms' culture in Hanzhong,featuring its unique style of this region.Taking Three Kingdoms' culture as a case,chapter three puts forward some alternatives which can be employed in historic teaching,including integration of local history and national history,special lectures,picture illustrations,interdisplinary teaching and so on.Chapter four proposes more plans to perfect local history teaching.This study aims to enrich and perfect local history teaching by taking Three Kingdoms' culture as a case,thus it can promote quality and patriotism education and contributes to the preservation of local cultural spirit to some degree.
