Dou Guimei is a special-grade teacher and Chinese language education expert,and she is the headmaster of Tsinghua University Primary School now.Miss Dou has been teaching Chinese for more than thirty years.Over these years,Miss Dou always adhere consciousness of problem to find and handle these problems in teaching practice,in order to pursue the true essence of Chinese teaching.During the exploration in Chinese teaching,Miss Dou came up with the “three beyond” and Thematic Teaching.As a headmaster,she leads all the teachers and students to promote curriculum reform basing on Chinese teaching reform.Not only does she put forward innovative and feasible teaching model,but also stands at the forefront of academic and has turned her thinking into theoretical results.The “three beyond”,Thematic Teaching and curriculum integration have a common core:to lay the foundation for children's lives.This text researches Dou's education and teaching practice,in order to give a comprehensive and stereo construction about Dou Guimei's Chinese educational thought.The main viewpoints are as follows:The starting point and objective of Dou Guimei's educational thought is children's perspective.She always has equal dialogue with students and respects students' experience.What's more,she attaches importance to Children's Literature's role in dip up the wisdom of children.The peculiarity of Dou Guimei's educational thought is life implication.Miss Dou considers Chinese teaching should construct an affluent and dynamic life.As for teachers,she thinks we should take professional dignity as our chasing goal in our whole life.Through integrating and researching Dou Guimei's educational thought and practice,the writer want to make her thought more theorization and systematize,for making a small contribution to Chinese teaching and Chinese educational theory.Dou Guimei's thought and practice has important implications for nowaday's Chinese teaching.Chinese teaching should take children's needs as a starting point and a place to stay.And Chinese teacher should development and take advantage of course resources which can encourage the vitality of Chinese teaching,cultivate children's language literacy and enrichcurriculum resources for children's life world to establish an open and dynamic Chinese teaching.What's more,Chinese language teachers should have professional dignity and promote their professional growth.
