Nursery rhymes,rooted in traditional culture,which having their unique value.However,because of the regional language barrier and the changes of life and education,many nursery rhymes has declined gradually,and the intergenerational transmission has become weaker and weaker.The elimination of nursery rhymes is a great loss to the inheritance of local language,culture and education.The study of nursery rhymes is helpful to the preservation of nursery rhymes and to arouse people’s attention to them.This study,from the perspective of educational history,uses the methods of literature analysis,text analysis and comparative study to clarify the educational connotation behind puxian nursery rhymes and delve the inner relation between puxian nursery rhymes and folk education.In the first chapter,the author clarifies the concepts which related to nursery rhymes,and traces the evolution of puxian nursery rhymes,explores their humanistic connotation from their historical origin and cultural essence,and from the contemporary evolution of nursery rhymes,the loss of ancient dialect rhyme and its estrangement from contemporary children’s life are seen.The second chapter analyzes the educational meaning of puxian nursery rhymes about its politics,society and children’s life aspects.In term of political life,puxian nursery rhymes promote good and hate evil to edify people in the way of extol or satirize politics.In term of social life,the nursery rhymes involves daily life,agricultural production and festival belief.They convey life and production experience in a lively and interesting way.The third chapter discusses the unique value of puxian nursery rhymes in education,entertainment and culture.Nursery Rhymes teach children daily knowledge,train children’s language and mode of thinking,and nurture good moral character with these short,concise and vivid nursery rhymes.In addition to its educational function,nursery rhymes can arouse children’s interest and happiness by catchy rhythm,which is also an important carrier of local cultural heritage.The fourth chapter,from the nursery rhymes perspective,can observe putian’cultural and educational characteristics.Puxian nursery rhymes have the characteristics of historical inheritance,locality and folk.It has important value of enlightenment and cultivation.It reflects the cultural tradition of “emphasis on education” in Puxian area.This is closely related to the local culture core of adoration morality and respecting Confucianism and literature.Moreover,Puxian nursery rhymes not only reveal the function of folk education,but also reflect the children’s struggle against formal school education...
