BackgroundIt is an extension of the theoretical study in school that after finishing theoretical study in school medical undergraduates accept clinical practice training in affiliated(teaching)hospital before graduation in accordance with requirements of teaching plan.At this stage the medical trainees have dual identities that are college students and also normal medical workers.How to make an objective and reasonable evaluation on the students in this period to meet both the requirements of the school to the students' study and the requirements of clinical units to clinical medical students? To form a reasonable evaluation method of clinical teachers to evaluate students via establishing the evaluation system of medical education coordination is an important mean to improve the teaching quality of medical college and cultivate innovative medical talents.ObjectivesTo explore the application of evaluation model of clinical teachers evaluating students in clinical practice teaching management and provide scientific thinking and basis for the cultivation of medical students via studying the structural elements of evaluation indexes of clinical teachers evaluating students,constructing more reasonable and comprehensive evaluation model of clinical teachers evaluating students,developing evaluation model software,and collecting analyzing data.Methods1.Authors looked up such literatures as theory and practice research about evaluating students,design of teachers evaluating students system,quality monitoring of enhancing“teachers evaluating students”,and construction and results analyses of teachers evaluating students system through the literature retrieval method.2.Using the depth interview and questionnaire method,depth interviews and questionnaires were carried out in 30 trainees 150 clinical teachers of 5 tertiary affiliated(teaching)hospitals in Henan Province to get evaluation items of clinical teachers evaluating students and work out the evaluation model framework of clinical teachers evaluating students.3.Using Delphi Method grade 1 and 2 indexes of model were further determined via 2round consultations.4.Using SPSS21.0 statistical software,measuring data of 2 round consultations were quantitatively and statistically analyzed,the mean,standard deviation,coefficient of variation and acceptance rate of indexes computed,the representative,authoritative and coordination of experts group qualitatively analyzed,and significant chi-square tests performed for experts' coordination coefficient.5.Using BS architecture technology model software of teachers evaluating students was developed,the systematization,conciseness and objectivization of evaluation realized via running the software and with the help of local area network were realized,and evaluation results outputed automatically via programmed arithmetic of software system.Results1.Participative activeness of consultants was higher,the questionnaires recovery rates of two round consultations were respectively 96.8% and 100%.2.The professional,ages,duty and title of each expert were analyzed.The age structure is divided into two levels i.e.experienced senior and innovatory young experts.Experts with master or doctoral degree made up 56.7%,and bachelor's degree43.3%.Experts with senior title were 11 and made up 36.7%,ones with vice-senior were19;most of experts were director,deputy director and head nurse of the clinical department i.e.the first line of clinical teaching.3.Statistics experts had higher familiarity with the subject,and the degree of.Personal authority coefficient of the expert was above 0.75,group authoritative coefficient value 0.87,the expert group had representativeness and uthoritativeness.4.Total recognition rate of grade 1 and 2 evaluating indexes of the evaluation model of clinical teachers evluating students were both higher than 90% according to summarizing analyses of two round expert consultations,the arithmetic mean was between4.13 ~ 4.93,the variation coefficient between 5.06% ~ 13.99%,coordination coefficients of grade 1 and 2 indexes of experts consultationswere respectively 0.318 and 0.278,P < 0.05 by chi-square test,and difference had statistical significance.Conclusions1.The preliminary construction of evaluation index of clinical teachers evaluating students is explored,the whole research process is rigorous and complete and the research method adopted is scientific and reasonable,which ensures the reliability of the results.2.Indexes model consisting of 6 dimensions,40 secondary indexes and 43 behavioral indexes is formed.3.To compile model software utilizing information technology and to evaluate and manage trainees acientifically,dynamically and continously provide method and thinking for perfecting the evaluation systeof clinical practice teaching quality and cultivating medical talents of medical education coordination.
