At present, the society is in a rapid transition period, while the society is progressing, and also brings a series of problems. In order to solve the problems caused by social development, promote the healthy and orderly development of the community, and improve the living standard of the community, the community construction has emerged. However,in the past experience,it was found that community management organizations pay too much attention to the administrative affairs of the community while neglecting the services of the community residents,so social workers are involved in the community construction, devoted to build rule of social governance,It is a response to the government's call to make up for the defects of community management organizations in the community construction.Social work can enrich the content of community service in community construction, enhance residents' self-government ability, innovate community working mode, and bring new upgrade and vitality to community construction.Although social workers involved in community construction has many benefits, but relative to community development of social work belongs to the alien species,There will be a lot of maladaptive phenomena in entering the community construction. For example, can social workers play a good role in the community and do their role in the community?Become an executive? In order to effectively give full play to the role function of social workers in community construction, improve community service level and promote the overall development of the community, the role of social workers should be solved urgently. This paper mainly focuses on the three main bodies of social workers, community residents and community management organizations.Through participatory observation and related literature reading, especially the author's three-month internship in B community.Interviews with community managers, community residents and community workers were conducted to explore the role of social workers in community building. In general, through the analysis of the interaction between social workers and various subjects,it is found that social workers are prone to the role ambiguity, role overload, role doubt and role conflict in the process of role playing. The problem of social worker's role imbalance is serious, and there are many reasons for the phenomenon, which can be divided into internal cause and external reason. In this paper,it is believed that the main internal factors are the lack of theoretical and practical experience of the social workers themselves,as well as the deviation of their role cognition,as well as the lack of social experience of the young social workers. The external factors are mainly the imbalance of the government performance appraisal to the community and the insufficient support to the social work, the serious administrative color of the community management organization and the lack of support for the social worker because of the distrust of the social worker. And the low willingness of community residents to participate and to accept the new thing of social work. Finally,it is mainly aimed at how to reposition the role of social workers and discuss how to change from the internal and external environment.First,in terms of the external environment, the government should increase its policy support for social workers, and community management organizations and social work organizations should give social workers more understanding and tolerance.for social workers involved in the community to create a harmonious atmosphere. The second is self-improvement,Social workers should learn by actively changing their perceptions of the role and continuing to perform effective roles,Improve one's own ability,To promote the smooth development of community work.
