The process of urbanization has an impact on all social and economic activities, such as the uneven distribution of wealth, the migration of the population, the increase of single parent families and the left-behind children etc. These changes have deeply affected the health of the residents. In china, the number of vulnerable children is huge,in which the left-behind children is as many as 58 million. In this context, this study focuses on the children in the LS area, and mainly answers three questions:The distribution of vulnerable children in classification, the plight of vulnerable children and how does social work intervene to improve the Society Ecosystem of vulnerable children? This study helps enrich related knowledge about the plight classification and the multiple plight of vulnerable children, further the localization of the Society Ecosystem Theory and put forward effective measures to intervene in vulnerable children according to their specific situations, thus promoting children's social work and improving their welfare policies. The theoretical framework of this paper was designed on the theory of Society Ecosystem. In this study, the qualitative analysis plays the most important role, meaningwhile supplemented by quantitative analysis. The way to collect and analyze data includes literature research,face-to-face interview, field observation, etc. On the basis of empirical materials, this paper is divided into four parts to discuss the influence of Society Ecosystem(family, school, community and state)on vulnerable children(physiology disadvantage, social difficulty, economy distress and mental disorder). This research follows social science ethics and social work ethics to ensure the reliability of research and the rights and interests of people investigated. The study finds that in LS District, the number of socially difficult children was the largest, followed by economic distress children, then mental disorder children, finally the children of physiological disadvantage. The study also finds that family facing difficult situations may have adverse effects on the physical and mental development or learning ability of children, but whether it will have adverse effects or not, other social ecological factors should be included.Generally speaking, good teacher-student relationship and peer relationship help the development of all vulnerable children, while bad teacher-student relationship and peer relationship are bad for the development of children's psychology. But whether teacher-student relationship and peer relationship will affect children's psychology is also in question and they are influenced by other social ecological factors. The community plight has obvious influence on the children in physiological disadvantage and mental disorder. For those in social difficulty and economic distress, the community plight doesn't show an obvious influence on the development of them. The state should provide various vulnerable children with corresponding material protection and psychological counseling and emotional care services. In LS District, children in physiological disadvantage are in need of economic help from the state, socially difficult children lacking guardianship require more social protection, children in economic distress also need economic security from the state, while mental disorder children need psychological counseling and emotional care service most.In detail,it mainly involves four intervening dimensions:individual, group, community and national policy. In the case work,it is wise to provide them with psychological guidance and emotional care.In the group work,it is advisable to offer them academic guidance, parenting education, and peer mutual assistance.Community should carry out community publicity about caring vulnerable children and establish community day care facilities. The state policy should strengthen family support for the vulnerable children from the building of the welfare system, economic support and service welfare. This study divides the Society Ecosystem affecting LS vulnerable children into four levels:family, school, community and state and also divides the vulnerable children into four types including physical disadvantage children, socially difficult children, economic distress children and mental disorder children. The redefinition and reclassification done for the vulnerable children in LS District and their Society Ecosystem,as well as the following research based on them can be thought as innovative points of this article to some extent.Due to the limitation of time and manpower and the incomplete collection of information, there are also possible expansion in future research:it would be better if other social ecological factors like individuals, cultures, institutions, etc.are added into Society Ecosystem, thus enriching and perfecting researches about vulnerable children and it also would be great if the exploration and formulation of feasible policies are carried out under the current social environment.
