| Physical education class situational interest refers to an interactive experience in which an individual perceives the characteristics of the sports item or the characteristics of the activity content and the stimulation experience during the participating in the physical education class,Vulnerable to external environmental stimuli.This paper took high school students as the research object,carried on the research along the top-down and bottom-up thinking and combined the qualitative research and the quantitative research,aimed to develop a questionnaire for the local high school students’physical education class situational interest.Therefore,it can provide an effective research tool for further exploring the interest of high school students physical education class situational interest.This study was composed of three parts.The first part was qualitative research.A semi-structured interview was conducted for 11 physical education teachers and an open-ended questionnaire was conducted for 120 high school students.Nvivo11.0 software was used to code the collected materials.It has preliminarily established the nine dimensions of high school students physical education class situational interest.They were:interestingness,pleasure,challenge,competitiveness,group,teacher factors,exploration intention,attention demand and novelty.According to the results of interview and open questionnaire,90 statements were prepared.The second part was the study on preliminary questionnaire.The 404 high school students in Beijing were tested by the initial questionnaire,and the questionnaire was modified and deleted according to the items analysis and exploratoryfactoranalysisresults.themeasurementstructurewas adjusted,the interestingness dimension was reduced to the pleasure dimension.An entry was added to the challenge dimensions with two entries left.Through confirmatory factor analysis,the formal questionnaire which contains 7 dimensions and 31 items were completed.The third part was the study on retest questionnaire.A retest questionnaire was used to measure 306 high school students in Beijing.The recovery data were analyzed by Mplus software.The challenging dimension was removed based on the results and the original model was modified.the indicators of confirmatory factor analysis can be found:theχ~2value is993.108,the CFI is 0.893,a the TLI is 0.879,the SRMR is 0.048,the RMSEA is 0.068.The reliability coefficient of the questionnaire is 0.972.All the indicatorsreachedthestatisticalstandard.Therefore,therevised theoretical model conforms to the high school physical education class situation interest.Finally,the retest questionnaire with 8 dimensions and34 items was formed.The cumulative interpretation rate of these 8 factors was 73.14%.Through the above studies,the following conclusions were drawn:First,the physical education class situational interest questionnaire of high school students contains seven dimensions,respectively,novelty,competitiveness,group,pleasure,teacher factor,exploration intention and attention demand,Among them,the teacher factor,competitiveness and group is the unique dimension of the physical education class situational interest.Secondly,good internal consistency and structural validity indicated that the questionnaire can obtain reliable and effective results.Thirdly,the questionnaire survey found that there was a significant difference in the interest of physical education in different grades and gender,indicating that the teachers should design teaching contents according to gender and grade difference in teaching process. |
