Relative deprivation is a social mentality prevailing in Chinese society.The concept can be defined as the subjective negative feeling that an individual can not be satisfied by a self-need arising from its comparison with a reference group as an individual or group.China has entered the period of deepening the reform of higher education,and the group of young teachers in Colleges has become the backbone of the construction of college teachers.If the young college teachers generally begin relatively deprived by the sense of social injustice or discontent based on feeling,so is not conducive to the healthy development of their own to improve the quality of life and mentality,but also affect the teaching reform and promote the cultivation of College Students' values,and may even cause unnecessary social deviant.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the relative deprivation of young teachers in Colleges.Putting forward research hypotheses through literature review,using a mixed study method,from the income level,research ability,occupation pressure,interpersonal relationship,life satisfaction and social justice six aspects of the measurement of young teachers whether there is a sense of relative deprivation,and a strong degree of geometric problems.Through regression analysis,it examines whether the factors of personal and family,organization and system,cultural and social equity of young teachers have a significant impact on them from the four dimensions of horizontal/vertical interaction with individuals/groups.Try to discuss the significant causes that affect the relative deprivation of young teachers by combining with case interviews,to provide reasonable explanations from the perspective of larger social public issues rather than personal distress.The object of this study is the teaching,research teachers and counselors underthe age of 40 in the universities of Chongqing.Using the typical sampling method and the cluster sampling method,485 questionnaires were issued during the actual investigation,and the effective recovery rate was 432.The effective recovery rate was89.1%.In addition,there are 12 cases as evidence.The measurement of relative deprivation mainly through the construction of individual/group,horizontal/vertical interactive multidimensional model implementation based on measurement;The genetic analysis of the relative deprivation is based on binary logistic regression analysis and case interview,from the individual and family,organization and system,culture and social justice in three dimensions explore significant causes.Research conclusion.Through the subjective evaluation sample income level,research ability,occupation pressure,interpersonal relationship,life satisfaction and social justice in six aspects,that the young teachers in Colleges the existence of transverse and longitudinal dimensions based on relative deprivation group.Through individual and family,organization and system analysis,and regression of culture and social justice perspective,verify the main causes of young college teachers' sense of relative deprivation: transverse aspects mainly from the scientific research ability,interpersonal relationship,status inconsistency;longitudinal aspects from subject type and level of education,professional title.This study proposes the following suggestions: on the one hand,the adjustment of the income distribution system,the balance of academic and administrative power,emphasizing the academic committee and innovative teaching mentoring system,to improve due to lateral status inconsistency,interpersonal relationship and research ability caused by the relative deprivation.On the other hand,improve the continuing education system of colleges and universities,encourage the training in the post,and implement the system of "Separation of evaluation and appointment" to improve the vertical relative deprivation caused by education,academic type and academic title.
