At present, our country is in the special period of the population problem and the economic transformation. Many scholars at home and abroad are studying the population structure and related areas of resident income. How to coordinate the relationship between population and economy in this special period is an urgent problem to be solved. For this purpose, this paper uses the theory of population theory, macroeconomics and finance to analyze the impact of the changes of population structure on the income of residents, based on the time series data from 2004 to 2015 in Beijing city. The first step is to clarify and define the relevant concepts, and then focus on the growth rate of income and income fairness. Then introduced the three dimensions to study the change of population structure on income inequality influence, three aspects from the birth rate, aging population and family structure using the related theory of population structure is how to affect the residents' income. Then,we use statistical data to analyze the impact of the population structure of Beijing on household savings. The population structure should not only consider the change of the total amount, but also need to analyze from the perspective of gender structure and age structure. Finally, according to the specific situation of Beijing City, analysis of the impact of population structure on the income of the residents, preliminary to determine the form of the model, and through the ADF test and co-integration test to determine the final form of the model. The results of the empirical analysis show that the income gap between urban and rural residents is affected by the dependency ratio of children, the ratio of old age dependency, the sex ratio of men and women and the process of urbanization.Among them, the higher the child dependency ratio and the process of urbanization, the smaller the income gap between urban and rural residents;the higher the elderly dependency ratio and the male to female ratio, the greater the income gap between urban and rural residents. The above results show that by adjusting the population structure to narrow the income gap between urban and rural residents of the means is effective, and the related policies means to adjust the population structure of a region requires sustained government efforts.
