The aging of population is a hot social issue in recent year. This issue not only troubles the developing countries but also the developed countries. Moreover, the aging of population problem has more deeply impact on the developing countries. This article focuses on the impact of regional GDP and consumption from China’s aging population, the impact study by the panel data model of population aging on regional economic development.Some problems are found in the process of research. First, the population aging severity was stepped distribution, the eastern aging degree is greater than the central and the central aging degree is greater than the western.Second, the distribution of eastern and western shows great difference. Third, the aging population of the developed economic provinces have adverse effects on GDP and consumption. Fourth, the degree of aging in China overall is still in rapid shallow aging type.Last, the number of aging population and the degree of aging is not always match.Base on the previous problems, this paper recommend some suggestions. From the overall national level to overall planning and guidance, second child policycan be considered fully open,develop the endowment culture, construct the public health facilities, establish related regulations, undertake social responsibility, and stimulate the aging industry actively facing the aging process.From the view of region, the area in the process of overall national level guidance should base on its own characteristics to deal with the aging,According to regional characteristics, formulate relevant countermeasures and system, the east can rely on their own financial advantage, regional advantage of population to move in, development of commercial insurance and so on, the Midwest can rely on their own labour cost advantage, energy advantage, policy advantage to introduce, increased investment in education investment, basic fitness and so on to relieve their aging effect on the economy.
