With the continuous development of information technology, traditional teaching methods are gradually mixed with the information education.Videotape Feedback Method,as one of the muti-media assisting teaching methods, plays a vital role in Physical Education. The Videotape Feedback Method is commonly used in the field of professional basketball, but due to the limitations of facilities, this method is relatively less applied in the school basketball teaching. The Videotape Feedback Method is used to assist in the teaching during the process of practical basketball teaching, the advanced video equipment is applied and the muti-media assistance teaching is based to analyze the rational videotape feedback in the teaching process in this thesis. So the role of Videotape Feedback Method in the basketball teaching can be discussed. This essay aims to provide some reference and basic research data for boosting the the teaching efficiency as well as improving the basketball teaching means. The Literature Method,Teaching Experiment Method and Questionnaire Survey Method are adopted in this research. The teaching schedule is drawn up in accordance with the Videotape Feedback Method before the experiments,besides,16-week teaching experiments are used to prove the teaching effects of Videotape Feedback Method in the General Courses of Physical Education Major. After analyzing the data of the experiments, the performance of the A Minute Muti-point Shot,Half-court Pass the Ball with Right or Left Hand,Double Whole Court Passing Ball,Pass and Shot the Ball,Defence and Slide as well as 3vs3 Half-court Shot of the experimental group are better than the Control Group. The differences between these two groups are significant(P<0.05).After analyzing the questionnaires,it is found that there are obvious differences between the experiment group and control group in the perspectives of emotion, cognition and behaviors(P<0.05),and the experiment group does better than the control group. After analyzing the experiment group's “The satisfying teaching methods” in the questionnaires, there are significant differences between the pre-experiment and the after-experiment(P<0.01).The following conclusions can be got after analyzing the experiment results:1 The applying of Videotape Feedback Method in Basketball General Course does better than the traditional teaching ways in the skill performance(including the aesthetics of actions, the practicality, rationality and the correcting effects of the wrong actions.)2.In the tests of the basketball skills, abundant physical energy and strong explosive force are needed for the actions required rapid movements,so the boosting effects of Videotape Feedback is not so obvious.3.As for the perspectives of learning attitude, the Videotape Feedback plays a boosting role in the students' cognition, emotions and behaviors, which promotes their interest for Basketball General Course,so they will have stronger learning enthusiasm.4.After interviewing and observing the teachers as well as students, the students' interactions with teachers in the experiment group are more frequent than the control group.A friendly communicating platform between teachers and students are established with the help of Videotape Feedback Method.5 After analyzing the experiment results, the application of Videotape Feedback Method can improve and increase the students' skills as well as learning enthusiasm. At the same time, students' satisfaction levels toward the teaching methods are increased. From the above,we can get the conclusion that Videotape Feedback Method is suitable to be spread in the Basketball General Course.
