Research On The Ideological And Political Education Of University Retirees In Beijing Under The New Media Environment

The development of new media technology has reshaped daily life,study and thinking model in a rapid speed.The integration of new media technology and ideology and political education has become a new study area.With the reform of China,deepen of globalization and the diversification of values,China's ideology is under strong impact.In the aging society,the retiree from universities is growing significantly.Therefore,it is important to adapt to this new environment and solve the issue of how to facilitate the ideological and political education of the retiree from universities.This paper argues that the development of the Internet technology,on the one hand,has brought opportunity for the ideological and political education of the retiree in universities.It has diversified the the content and form and enhanced the level of convenience of the ideological and political education of the retiree from universities.On the other hand,it also brought challenges because of the coexistence of both positive and negative information online and the low new media skill of the retiree.This paper explains both the opportunity and challenges that the ideology and political education of the retiree is facing.It proposes that idea that combining online and offline as a solution to the current situation.
