The Research Of Medical Social Workers Involved In Hospice Care Of The Empty Nesters

Rising as the population ages,the number of empty nest elderly multiplies,partly due to the rise of elderly cancer incidence,making as an important modern society civilization symbol of hospice care gradually into the empty nest elderly terminal services and rapid development in the whole world.Hospice care from the western developed countries was introduced into our country,but influenced by the concept of traditional Chinese believe in the life and fear death in the process of our development is relatively lagging behind.In recent years,the domestic study of hospice care is growing trend,mainly with the status,characteristics and development model of ethical values,the theoretical discussion,the research involves the practical level is less.And this article through to participate in hospice care to study the concrete practice of the project,analyze the demand for the dying person,to understand the medical social work,the process of empty nest elderly hospice care intervention for medical social work intervention in the process of empty nest elderly hospice existing problems and discusses the countermeasures and suggestions.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.mainly elaborated this article research background,research purpose,research ideas,research methods and based on the existing related literature at home and abroad,the author summarizes the existing research results and existing problems,and highlight the medical social work intervention in empty nest elderly hospice care the importance of the topic research.The second part is the concept definition and related theoretical research.The author on the basis of literature review,the empty nest elderly,hospice care,and medical social work concepts on the basis of this article needs to be defined,and the related theory: Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,social ecosystem theory,theory of life review,social damage theory and social reconstruction theory are briefly introduced.The third part is the analysis of end-of-life demand.Through to the dying person and their family members interview,the author sums up the dying at the individual,family and social problems,pain nursing,and sum up the dying person daily life care,economic support,and participation in social life,emotional and spiritual care in six aspects,such as demand.The fourth part introduces the hospice care process of medical society.In this part,the author introduces the methods,contents and roles of medical social workers involved in the hospice care,and evaluates the intervention effect of medical social workers.The fifth part is the discussion about the plight and countermeasures of the medical social workers' intervention in the hospice.In this part the author from the traditional culture,talent team,economic factors,has pointed out that medical social worker policy system during the process of intervention empty nest elderly hospice dilemma situation,and puts forward some countermeasures and Suggestions.
