Research On Experimental Mathematics Teaching Of Primary School

In 2014,Educational Equipment Research & Development Center of the Ministry of Education initiated a research project on establishment of math lab for middle and primary school.The project aimed to promote the development of experimental math teaching through scaled teaching research and pilot projects,and achieve a transform from traditional math teaching model to be more open and practical way.Consequently,based on experimental math teaching,this thesis made researches on current status of primary schools who are conducting experimental math teaching,and analyzed the problems facing by those schools during the experimental teaching.Against these researches and analysis,this thesis raised improving measures for primary schools to conduct experimental math teaching.Through questionnaire research,this thesis found most of math teachers in primary school are aware of experimental math teaching and realized its value.They believe it is worth to promote the experimental math teaching.However,the performance of the experimental math teaching is not satisfactory.The main problems are: there is no representative case to learn,experimental teach may influence teach schedule,insufficient teach equipment,teachers’ ability need to be improved.According to these problems,this thesis raised below improving measures: hold the basic principle of primary schools’ experimental math teaching,construct general steps,and accelerate the construction of primary schools’ math laboratories.Finally,through analysis on different types of cases on experimental math teaching,this thesis could provide some references to front-line teachers.
