Secondary vocational English reading class is one of the most important contents and it is playing a very important role in secondary vocational English education.In most cases,secondary vocational English reading class tends to adopt the traditional “teacher talk only”teaching model for it has being effected by exam-oriented education for a long time.What’s more,the teachers’ teaching ideas are out-dated and the environment is dull with the lack of interaction.It leads to the unsatisfactory teaching efficiency.Therefore,secondary vocational English reading class has been of great significance in research and it still has very large space for reform.This study is devoted to the application of interactive teaching in English reading classes of secondary vocational school and proposes the classification standard between the real interaction and fake interaction regarding to the current problems in secondary vocational English reading teaching,and it points out that we should follow the inherent principles and take a variety of effective approaches in teaching practice to achieve the efficient application of interactive teaching in English reading teaching of secondary vocational school and reject the fake interaction in real teaching.This study put forward the design philosophy of interactive teaching activities in English reading teaching of secondary vocational school.Next it designed interactive teaching model and teaching program and arranged teaching activities reasonably combining vocational feature and employment orientation to achieve the efficient application of interactive teaching in English reading teaching of secondary vocational school.At last,we could find that the application of interactive teaching in English reading teaching of secondary vocational school could achieve remarkable teaching effect and it has been of win-win teaching value for both teachers and students by theoretical deduction and data analysis in teaching research.
