Research On Faculty Building In Vocational And Technical College A Based On The Crisis Of Recruitment

College A is a higher vocational institute sponsored by a large state-owned enterprise.By virtue of its dominant advantage based on enterprise sponsorship and industry features,the college has constructed relatively stable employment information net mainly focusing on Ports and logistics enterprises.The favorable employment situation has become an important guarantee for its excellent student resource and the admission scores kept rising year after year once.Since 2009,the college has been facing the series of problems such as more investment in recruitment,seriously dropping enrollment marks,more difficulty in management of teaching and students,what's more,the decline of graduate quality has led to some shrinkage of employment market.And the problem that the college has to face and solve is how to tackle the negative influence resulted from recruitment crisis.This paper proposes how to deal with the influence through faculty building under this background.This thesis analyzes some requirements of the crisis through documents consultation,questionnaire survey and depth interview etc.And the requirements are for faculty building of vocational colleges in faculty quantity,professional title structure,academic structure,dual-qualification structure,part-time teacher structure,teachers' comprehensive quality and so on.The paper finds out the problems and roots in the crisis combined with the current situation of faculty building in College A and proposes some strategies based on faculty building as follows: to formulate scientific faculty building plan,to reform the teacher's professional technical position appraisal orientation,to improve qualifications of dual professional degrees,to enhance the management of part-time teachers,to efficiently introduce teachers and to increase teachers' comprehensive quality.And finally the thesis shows some supporting measures.This paper ties to promote the college's faculty to get improvement and diversified development in coping with recruitment crisis,enhance its connotation construction and achieve to turn adversity into opportunity through a series of measures.
