With the continuous promotion of the reform of basic education in our country,basic education pays more and more attention to the cultivation of students 'abilities.Introducing the case teaching method to geography teaching in senior high schools has played the main role of the students in the classroom and gradually cultivated students from passive learning to active learning.At the same time,students have learned to change from the inculcation of knowledge to the use of knowledge and have learned to upgrade from the accumulation of knowledge to the improvement of their abilities.The further study of the application of case teaching method in high school geography teaching has a positive effect on efficiently realizing the goal of geography teaching and training students' practical ability.This study takes the relevant requirements of "Ordinary high school geography curriculum standard" and it is based on the theory of scenario learning,Constructivism learning,information processing and cognitive structure.Meanwhile,we use the literature research method to study the teaching background,research progress and knowledge of geography case teaching.We use questionnaire and classroom observation to study the current situation of geography teaching in senior high school,and analyze the existence of high school geography teaching According to the problem put forward the corresponding solutions.The structure of this study is mainly divided into the following eight parts:The first part is introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,research significance,domestic and international research review,research ideas,research methods and theoretical basis.The second part mainly studies the related concepts,characteristics,classification of case teaching and the positive effect of case teaching on cultivating students' geographical core literacy.First of all,this part defines the related concepts and characteristics as well as the classification of different standards from the aspects of case according to case teaching and geography case teaching.Secondly,the author describes the characteristics of geography case teaching from the aspects of motivation,experience,interactivity and inquiry.In addition,according to the content of case,the form of case presentation,the degree of case specialty and the type of case application,classification.Finally,the dissertation elaborates the role of case teaching in cultivating students' geographical core literacy around four aspects of regional cognitive ability,comprehensive thinking ability,geographical practical ability and human and nature conception.The third part mainly elaborates the necessity of high school geography case teaching and the implementation principle of case teaching.First of all,the paper introduces the necessity of carrying out case teaching in geography in high school from four aspects: the requirements of "Geography Curriculum Standard for General Senior High School",the requirements of quality education,the demand of state for inquiry-type talents and the disadvantages of traditional geography classroom teaching methods.The essay introduces the implementation principles of case teaching from five aspects such as student-centered,development,integrity,democracy and emotional interaction.The fourth part is the status quo investigation of high school geography case teaching.Teachers' questionnaires and student questionnaires were designed respectively,and assisted by classroom observation,the present situation of geography teaching in senior high schools was more real and comprehensive.According to the analysis of the questionnaire and the analysis of the result of the classroom observation,some problems existed in the high school geography case teaching.The fifth part is aimed at the problems found in the fourth part of the survey,put forward specific solutions to promote high school geography teaching to play its more efficient role.The sixth part is about the selection of geography teaching case and the implementation procedure of case teaching.First of all,this part introduces the problems to be noticed in the selection of cases and the principles of case selection.The selection of cases should pay attention to the source and nature of the selected cases,the composition of the cases and the controversies about the contents of the cases.The selection of cases should follow the matching,Authenticity,regional native,educational,timeliness,fun typicality five principles.Secondly,the procedure of the implementation of the case is mainly discussed in seven aspects: case description,problem presentation,student discussion,student statement,teacher summary improvement,student case report and teacher after-class reflection.Finally,the dissertation elaborates the role of case teaching in cultivating students' geographical core literacy around four aspects of regional cognitive ability,comprehensive thinking ability,geographical practical ability and human and nature conception.And for the evaluation link,the corresponding evaluation index and the final quantification mechanism are designed.Then,according to the research on case teaching,this paper is made by a class of teaching design chosen a case of "development of Zhanhuadongzao industry",which illustrates case teaching.The eighth part is the conclusion part of this thesis,at the same time points out the innovations and shortcomings of this thesis.
