In recent years,the private colleges and universities in our country has developed rapidly,which has occupied a large proportion in the higher education,and has been paid more and more attention and recognition by the people of the whole country.The state has formulated corresponding measures in the areas of legal status,preferential policies for running schools,policies for aiding students,employment policies,etc.,to ensure the rights of private colleges and to promote the development of private higher education.At the same time,it also carries on the reasonable supervision and management to the private colleges,so that the private higher education can develop healthily and sustainably.Guangdong A Vocational College is a growing member in this excellent external environment,this paper studies the subjects under the large premise.This paper first summarizes the process of strategic management and relevant theories,and lays a theoretical foundation for the next research and finds corresponding theoretical tools.Then it analyzes the external macro environment and industry competition environment of Guangdong A Vocational College,including political,economic,social and technical analysis,and analyzes the competitive environment by using the five-force model,and obtains the external key factors that affect its development.Internal resources and capabilities of A vocational college is analyzed,including the basic conditions,teaching conditions,ability to enrollment,cultivation of ability and development capacity analysis,to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the internal factors that influence their development through the IFE matrix.Then through the analysis of SWOT matrix,find out the strategic combination that A vocational college can choose,and then choose SO and WO strategy as the strategic direction according to its existing conditions,and determine that differentiation is the core strategy.Finally,this paper divides the strategy implementation into three stages: short,medium and long term,and establishes the strategic objectives and corresponding implementation measures in stages and the main measures to ensure the implementation of the strategy.The strategies of different stages are different,but they have a progressive relationship in time and logic.
