Under the traditional education mode of state founded schools,develop education,and unified management of the operating system with the continuous development of the market economy gradually and the education system has been unable to meet the needs of modern social and economic development.Encourage various social forces to invest heavily in the development of private higher education has become the common goal of the government and society.In the face of the popularization of higher education and public colleges and universities under the condition of rapid development,continuous innovation in shandong province education system,actively guide and encourage social strength investment and establish non-governmental education,effectively promoted the development of private higher education forward,the number of private colleges is growing,competition is increasingly fierce.In this paper,by using the theory of strategic management and competitive strategy theory and relevant theory of shandong institute of X is studied : first,In combination with the practical situation of the development of shandong institute of X,using the potter five model and SWOT analysis tools,such as in shandong institute of X macro environment and industry environment analysis,summed up the shandong institute of X's strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats of,understand the external environment facing to the school also constantly update change,industry competition is very fierce,and the future development of the school faces a big challenge,Among them the main threat comes from the fierce competition in the industry;Social awareness of private colleges have deviation;Government policy changes,etc.Combination of shandong institute of X strategic orientation and target,chose the differentiation competitive strategy,mainly in the personnel training mode,teacher team construction,teaching methods and brand construction and so on to carry out the differentiation strategy,the following several aspects of the implementation of the measures have been drawn up for this: First,take the connotative development,improve the quality of personnel training;Second,enhancing university-enterprise cooperation,promote the development of production;Third,optimize the structure of teachers,strengthening the construction of teaching staff;The fourth,the innovation of teaching model,reform the practice teaching system.Finally,in order to ensure effective implementation of the measures,puts forward the competitive strategy of shandong university of X safeguard measures: strengthen the internal management system reform,improve the internal quality assurance system;We will deepen reform of the recruitment of students employment mechanism,improve the employment service system;To strengthen the construction of campus culture,build cultural cultivation system.The value of this research lies mainly in Shandong Institute of X and how to improve the competitiveness of provide strategic guidance,to enhance its core competitiveness;can also be examples of a development of private colleges and universities as for other private colleges and universities make competition strategy to provide reference,with a certain academic value.
