As the economy develops,more and more young and middle-aged rural labor force have poured into cities and become the new force in urban modernization.Due to various restrictions,the majority of married young and middle-aged choose to leave their children in their hometowns and the accompanying rural areas The phenomenon of left-behind children is also getting worse.Long-term distance from their parents,these children are not only devoid of the materially care by their parents,but also devoid of the spiritual care they deserved.Because children are in a period of socialization and their mental development is not yet ripe,if they fail to understand their needs promptly and intervene effectively,it will be very hard to make up for the left-behind children's spiritual vacancy.Therefore,in addition to active mental health education,it is also necessary to use social work professionals to scientifically and reasonably involve left-behind children.Social work can do this,that they can ease the psychological and emotional trauma,restore the social support system and promote the function of survival and development.It can be said that social work is an indispensable professional force in caring for left-behind children in rural areas.In this study,by using the combination of questionnaire method and interview method,five primary schools in Yuqing County,Guizhou Province were sampled.According to the questionnaire screening and talking with the teacher,Selected representatives of two left-behind children and their guardians conducted in-depth interviews,and surround the left-behind children there is the existence of interpersonal communication problems,psychological study of psychological problems in three areas conducted a study and analysis.Combining the causes and their own specialties,this paper put forward the feasible method that the school social workers intervene in the spiritual care of left-behind children in rural areas.School social workers can use case intervention method,group intervention method and community intervention method.At the same time,they should make active use of the social policy guarantee function,Left-behind children to build spiritual care platform for individual level,from the family level to establish a school committee,from the school level to form a social work and psychological mutual aid mode,and give concrete feasible measures to provide professional social work intervention suggestions for the spiritual care of left-behind children in rural areas and explore the feasibility of involving social work in the spiritual care of left-behind children in rural areas so as to promote Adolescent physical and mental health,all-round development.
