Physics is a subject of natural science based on experiments.During the basic physics teaching in middle school,teaching classical physics experiments can greatly help the students better understand physics concepts,master the physical laws,cultivate their abilities in observation and practice.However,there exist some drawbacks in the traditional way of doing the experiments.In the recent years,with the High School New Curriculum Standard on Physics emphasizing the integration of physics teaching and digital information technology,the outcome of the integration,namely DIS has been gradually entering more and more physics classes as a brand new experiment method.DIS integrates data acquisition,data processing and data analysis,replacing manual processing with AI technology as its most prominent feature.DIS,enabling a revolutionary new way to teach physics experiments in middle school,provides students with cutting-edge technological support to conduct experimental study.What's more,DIS,with its technological advantages,can breakthrough the long-existing barriers,therefore can furthur optimize traditional experiment structures and,as a result,enhance teaching and learning effectiveness.By comparing the pros and cons of DIS experiments to those of traditional experiments,this paper explores their application features respectively,demonstrates the relationship between the two in experiment teaching,aiming at promoting wide application of DIS in middle-school physics teaching.This paper starts with a brief introduction of DIS and then demonstrates a comparative analysis on 4 mechanics experiments conducted in a traditional way and in the DIS way respectively,which are 4 experiments selected from High School Physics Textbook Senior 1and Senior 2(PEP edition).After the analysis,we integrate the traditional experiments and their corresponding DIS ones and then conduct practice research in the principle of meeting the new curriculum standard and facilitating students' learning.The study aims at working out a new teaching solution that is in line with the High School New Curriculum Standard on Physics so as to allow teachers to build a new-type physics experiment teaching platform on top of making full use of the new textbook.At the end,this paper gives teaching suggestions how to improve students' comprehensive abilities in conducting experiments.
