DIS system is the abbreviation of "Digital Information System".With development of modern education information technology,this new modern information technology aid is gradually challenging the traditional physical demonstration experiments.So what are the advantages and disadvantages of the DIS experiment compared to the traditional experiment?Will the DIS experiment completely replace the traditional physical experiment?Throughout all the literature researches,questionnaires,teaching practices and student interviews that had done by the author during the internship.High school physics experiments has been selected to be the content,including experiments such as“Measuring the instantaneous speed"," Verifing Newton ' s Second Law ",and“Verifing the Centripetal Force Formula" and so on.The author has found that DIS physics experiments and traditional physics in high school mechanics experiments have their own strengths.The traditional physical experiment teaching is difficult to operate,and the experimental steps are more complicated,however it mainly focuses on the process of experiment teaching and how to operate accurately,it is a way to train students'practical and thinking ability.On the other hand,the DIS physics experiment teaching is easy to operate,it can record the experimental data accurately,process timely,present the physical changes dynamically,and generate images automatically based on experimental data.However,the downside of the DIS experiment which is ignoring the cultivation of students' ability and understanding of the nature of the experiment.The author believes that the current physics experiment class should combine the advantages of both traditional physics teaching and DIS physics experiment,which allows students to gain a deep insight of traditional methods to operate physics experiments.Then,students can operate more accurately by using the modern information technology system.By using this supplementary method rationally,the teaching quality and efficiency of the high schools ' physics classes can be truly improved.The research contents of this article mainly focuses on the teaching of mechanics experiment in High School.Besides mechanics,some other experiments in thermo logy?optics?electricity and etc.are also worth to be further studied.
