| “Critical thinking ” is a kind of questioning spirit with self consciousness,and it is the ability to question freely and to make reasonable judgments based on the existing conclusions in a democratic and equal dialogue.“Critical thinking” has long been well-known and concerned by the educational academy in the West.Due to the influence of Chinese traditional culture and the relatively late introduction of this concept to China,the understanding and discussion of “critical thinking” still stay on the theoretical level.Although Chinese subject is the garden of developing critical thinking,it ignores this kind of training in actual teaching.This paper explores the reasons from the three aspects: the limitation of Chinese culture,the limitation of Chinese classroom teaching and the competence of teachers.The concept of morality and the integration of human-nature relationship in the Confucianism has suffocated the individuality and ego of the person.The factors,such as the lack of learning resources in Chinese classroom,the fixed time and place,the lack of the students’ communication and the lack of the opportunity to express views as well as the lack of systematic understanding of critical thinking of the teachers all devote to the absence of the cultivation of critical thinking in Chinese teaching.Based on the foundation of social conditions,the creative education idea of Tao Xingzhi and the cultivation of exploratory ability in today’s new Chinese curriculum reform,this paper analyzes the rationality and practice of cultivating critical thinking in Chinese teaching.The development of network technology is an unavoidable fact.Although it has some negative effects,we can use it to overcome limitations of learning resources,fixed time and space to assist our Chinese classroom teaching.This paper makes use of the network characteristics of transcending time and space,expressing and acquiring views and information freely to assist the cultivation of critical thinking in Chinese teaching.Teachers guide students to use the network rationally to study,using chatting software to enhance the emotion of teachers and students,creating some special topics and subject research,and establishing the stage of equal dialogue.Teachers should cultivate students the spirit of inquiry,for example,to dare to question and dare to ask questions.The introduction of network environment as a teaching tool provides technical support for training critical thinking in Chinese teaching,and proposes corresponding measures to prevent students from bringing mobile phones to school,from publishing uncivilized speech and the negative effects of network information.It provides a teaching idea of using technical support to train students’ critical thinking in Chinese teaching. |
