| According to the main idea of Compulsory Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2011),mathematics teaching in junior high school at present has been improved in comparison with that in the past.It pays more attention to knowledge generation than knowledge transferation,focusing on the process,methods and emotion during students’ study.Moreover,it helps students form their own cognition and understanding of mathematics,so as to assist them to build their own mathematics system.As a result,mathematical experimental teaching emerges as the times require.During the mathematical experimental teaching,students can experience generation,development,reconstruction and promotion of knowledge by observing,attempting,inducing,abstracting,supposing,experimenting and demonstrating.Besides,through those process,students can also feel the close connection between life knowledge and mathematics knowledge as well as receive mathematics activity experience and mathematics thinking experience.By demonstrating and operating experiment,their inspiration can be stimulated,their thinking processes can be noted,their thinking results can be demonstrated and their thinking quality can be perfected.And by mathematical abstraction and reasoning & argumentation,students’ abilities,including those of mathematical abstraction,reasoning & argumentation,intuitive imagination and arithmetical operation,will be concerned.Therefore,their mathematical literacy will be enhanced.The paper,which consists of six chapters,focuses on the study of mathematical experimental teaching in junior high school.Chapter One is the preface,explaining purpose,significance,background,status quo,contents and methods of the study.Chapter Two is the overview of relative theories,including the definition of the concept of mathematical experiment,the theoretical basis of mathematical experiment,classification of mathematical experiment by the author(operating & thinking,physical verification,exploration)and feasibility analysis of mathematical experiment.Chapter Three is the close study on mathematical experimental teaching from the perspective of its characteristics,principles,implementation and value.Chapter Four is the investigation & analysis of status quo of mathematical experimental teaching on the foundation of data collected and sorted from the questionnaire survey among teachers and students.Chapter Five is the evaluation of mathematical experimental teaching in junior high school.It firstly states the principles of mathematical experimental teaching and then demonstrates methods,characteristics and impact of different evaluation from the perspective of self-evaluation and preceptor-evaluation under those principles.Chapter Six is the question & thinking part,which aims to reflect on the problems in mathematical experimental teaching and provide an outlook of the future of it at the end of the paper. |
