With the development of knowledge-based economy,China attaches importance to higher vocational education.In recent years,higher vocational colleges developed rapidly and expanded scales,now they have been an indispensible part of the higher education,as well as sending many of excellent well-qualified technology-based competent people to our country.However,the development of higher vocational college also reveals lots of problems,especially teacher human resource management.The system of teacher human resource management in most higher vocation colleges takes examples by companies or normal universities.Nonetheless,because of the characteristics of higher vocation colleges,compared with normal universities,their training objectives,the gist of major setup,teaching content,education emphasis,education approach are different.Therefore,referring directly must have various problems.This research took S vocational technical institute for example,and analyzed its current situation of teacher human resource.We explored the existent problems and reasons in the process of teacher human resource management by searching relevant theory and field research.We suggested that these problems include low quality of managers,and some management systems,such as teacher recruitment,inspiration,performance assessment,training and career management are defectiveness.And these problems are due to management thoughts are old-fashioned.Accordingly,the current research proposed specific countermeasures for teacher human resource revolution in S vocational technical institute,including building modern teacher human resource thoughts,reforming teacher recruitment regime,establishing scientific performance appraisal system,making reasonable salary system,innovating teacher training system,and paying more attention to teacher career management.
