Mu Jibo(1895-1978)was a famous Chinese language educator in the early years of the Republic of China.He adhered to the front line of Chinese teaching in middle schools for a long time.He has rich teaching experience and remarkable teaching results.He has made many contributions to the development of early Chinese language education in China.In the history of Chinese education,he has a unique position and role.This article is divided into three parts to study Mu Jibo's Chinese education thought.The first part is introduction.This chapter mainly introduces the research object,meaning,status,content,and methods.The second part of the text is the core content of the full text.This part mainly studies the content and characteristics of Mu Jibo's Chinese education thoughts from the four aspects of educational purposes,curriculum setting,teaching material arrangement,and teaching methods,but does not statically study his personal Chinese language education ideas,but instead puts them in 1922.The comparison between the New School System and the entire context of the Chinese language education shows that the difference between Mu Jibo's Chinese education thought and the popular Chinese education thought at the same time.The first one expounds that Mu Jibo affirms the instrumentality and attaches importance to humanity.He aims to cultivate the linguistic goals of Chinese thoughts and Cultivate teenagers,and sums up the educational teleology which has both instrumental and humanistic features to meet the needs of social development.The characteristics of the second chapter of the article describe Mu Jibo's special language,the emphasis on Chinese language courses,and the careful arrangement of the Chinese language curriculum content,and summarizes the characteristics of the curriculum setting theory that meets the students' multiple development needs and focuses on teaching effectiveness;Three chapters expound Mu Jibo's textbooks on white texts,and the texts in the <Senior Ancient Book > emphasize the Confucian classics.The <Senior Language Book >” is compiled into the operating system and assistant reading system.Principles and characteristics of mutual cooperation among various systems;Chapter 4 describes Mu Jibo's scientific decomposition of texts,focus on inspired thinking,tries Dalton-made students' self-learning teaching methodology,summarizes their teaching methodologies with persisting inspiration and systematic principles,and is conducive to cultivating students self-study features.The third part is the conclusion.In a comprehensive and in-depth discussion of Mu Jibo's four aspects of Chinese language education thoughts,the author summarizes his thoughts to inherit and innovate the Chinese education thoughts that prevailed before and after the New School System.At the same time,analyzed that Mu Jibo's Chinese education thoughts have the burden of language education.,not pay attention to the exchange of ideas,the separation of textbooks and white papers,the separation of knowledge and the lack of historical methods of writing teaching methods,and finally summed up its thinking on the current language education and enlightenment.
