The festival folklore is a part of the traditional culture.The teaching of folk festival can help students deeply understand the cultural connotati on of traditional festivals,inherit and protect traditional festival national culture,it also can enrich the students' humanistic quality and carry out better carry forward and cultivate the national spirit in the new English curriculum standards ",it enhances national cohesion and creativity and play it s role".The Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China to develop.The ordinary high school language curriculum standard.The people's education press,2016 use of the folk festival to broaden the horizons of students,understand and carry forward the traditional culture and inherit it.The high school Chinese contains abundant knowledge of the festival folklore,which provides the necessary prerequisite for the teaching of the festival folklore and the available educational resources.This paper collated the texts related to festivals and folklore,analyzed the connotation and value of festival folklore,analyzed the problems in teaching and put for ward teaching strategies based on the investigation of students and teachers.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter analyzed folk festivals in senior high school Chinese textbooks and it also analyzed the existence of folk festivals in Chinese language textbooks and selected several major,it introduced many traditional festival,such as Spring Festival,Tomb-sweeping Day,the Qixi Festival,Yang Festival;in the second chapter,it mainly focus on the questionnaires and interviews,analyzes the existing problems in the teaching of folk festivals,for example,students who learn the festival knowledge think it is not clear.students hope that there are many teaching methods,but it is diversified,people can research its causes on the basis of results;the third chapter,which is based on the second chapter.It combined with questions which was put on the second chapter,it aims to to find a meeting point for folk festival and puts forward some folk festival teaching ideas and strategies.
