| Presently,with a new round of curriculum reform being carried out nationwide,the geographical core accomplishments has been clearly put forward in the new criterion for curriculum,and in the College Entrance Examination,the original ability has been transformed into the attainment in the examination.As an important part of the geographical core literacy,how to improve the ability of geographic practice in the geography teaching in high school needs solving urgently by the high school geography teacher.In the course of teaching implementation,not having enough time is becoming a prominent problem.Besides,investigations in field and social work,going out to put the geographical practice ability into activities is a urgent need,but the safety of students is a major hidden danger,which keeps teachers away.Moreover,to get higher marks in the College Entrance Examination,all the students and teachers focus only on the classroom teaching while ignoring the practical power in geography in primary and middle schools.In the face of the contradiction between the requirement of cultivating the practical power in geography and the hardships mentioned above,how to permeate the cultivation of geographical practice force in geography teaching is an important topic for teachers.In order to know the current situations where the practical power is cultivated in geography in high schools in Guiyang,a survey is carried out with the method of questionnaire and interviews to teachers and high school students,as a result of which we have learned about the understanding of the geography practical situation,the knowing degree,the value of opening the class,the objectives and the factors hindering the research on cultivating the practical power in geography.Besides those mentioned above,there exist the following problems--the insufficiency of the teachers’ ability on carrying out the geographic practice power,the conflict between the teaching task and the class hours,the lack of support from the society and the parents,no corresponding teaching cases for consulting and no guidance from the experienced teachers and so on.According to the questions in the survey,the author put forward the strategies of the geography practical training,including strengthening the professional quality of the geography teachers,enriching the geographic practice types,paying attention to the development of thinking,and making the activity not a mere formality.Different geographical cultivation practice should be researched separately.The subject of the practical geography power stays with the core of teaching knowledge closely,to which the administration department can attach importance for encouraging the development of local curriculum.Based on the geography curriculum standard for senior high school students in 2017,and according to the teaching contents of Compulsory Required of 1,2 and the geography characteristics in Guiyang,the theme activities of the geography practice Guiyang city’s high school are designed well,including experiments,observations,investigations,field surveys and teaching aids making.There are five categories,totally 16 cases,and two types of studying,through which the teaching cases on geographical practice class are studied and the teaching feasibility of geographic practice force of training strategy are tested out.The geographical matters that should be paid attention to is also put forward,including taking the safety of the students into consideration,making full use of the resources of the school and weekends,designing good teaching cases,choosing regular common instruments,lowing the level of the activities.We hope to provide reference for other teachers by this. |
