The cultivation of Geography practice ability has become a bright spot of the deepened geography curriculum reform as high school geography curriculum standards(2017)was promulgated.This paper discusses the development mechanism,training strategies and methods of students' geographical practice from both the theoretical and practical aspects.The details are showed as follows:First,the generating mechanism of geographical practice ability.The geography practice ability cannot be obtained through words,but requires understanding and feelings in real or near-real situations to acquire tacit knowledge in practice.In this process,students are “experiencers” and teachers are “mentors”Second,there is no enough time for current secondary education to ensure students to complete the current situation of geographical practice activities.With the guidance of Successful Intelligence Theory,tacit knowledge-related thoughts,Situational Learning Theory,and Social Learning Theory,this paper explorates the "indoor road" with geographical practice micro video as a scaffold.That is,people can use the brief image of the teacher's geographical practice activity—geographical practice micro video—to put the actual practice situation to the classroom and use modern media technology to help cultivate students' geographical practice ability.In this process,students are "experienced" and teachers are "observed" and "leader."Third,More than a dozen geo-practice micro-videos were produced and the general procedures and principles for the production of geographical practice micro video are summarized using action research.The design process is: Topics choosingTarget Design-Strategy Presentation Design-Script Design.The topics should according to the principles of geoscience,education,and feasibility.The focus of the teaching can be focused on the difficulties and local material.The target design can be determined based on the structure of geographical practice,"two aspects,seven factors,and four levels" and the specific analysis of students' practical structure.Presentation strategies generally use enlightening and generative methods to promote student's ability.The script design is generally in the form of a table,the details of the content,according to the teacher's proficiency and video content is easy and flexible.In the shooting process,several principles should be paid attention to: the ratio of frame width to height is the same,the quality of the picture is clear;the composition highlights the focus;the orientation,angle highlights the image features;the use of time-lapse photography to highlight the characteristics of changes.Editing software and a mobile phone and a simple operation PPT animated features can be used,it is easy for wider groups of teachers to master.Fourth,according to the characteristics of this type of micro-video can break the time constraints,poor interaction and other characteristics,it proposes two modes of teaching to create the virtual classroom under-learning mode by using WeChat public platform,fragmentation of the classroom application mode,both models promote independent learning and class participation of students.It provides the conditions for the cultivation of practical ability of geography.Fifth,The main contribution of the study.A more in-depth interpretation of the connotation of geography practice ability;innovating strategies of geography practical cultivation;produce of more than ten geo-practice micro-video in action research;established a WeChat public platform;summarizing the production experience of geopractice micro-video The production experience,put forward the teaching application suggestion of geographic practice micro video,and provided a very positive enlightenment and demonstration for the teaching of geographical practical activities.
