| As one of the four dimensions of geography core accomplishment proposed in the 2017 edition of curriculum standard,geography practical ability needs to be promoted through geography practice activities in the real situation of indoor,field and society.But in the actual teaching implementation process,by security factors,class arrangement restrictions,school hardware and software conditions and other factors,enhances the student geography practical ability to have the certain difficulty.In the face of the contradiction that the new curriculum standard attaches great importance to the cultivation of high school students geography practical ability and it is difficult to carry out geography practical ability deeply in senior high school,how teachers can infiltrate the cultivation of geography practical ability into senior high school geography teaching is an important subject to be solved urgently.This research is based on the theory of activity curriculum,constructivism learning theory and Tao Xingzhi’s theory of "teaching and doing in one".Firstly,it uses literature research method to define the concept of geography practical activity and geography practical ability,and to understand the current research situation at home and abroad.Through the analysis of the questionnaire to understand the current situation of high school students in Rizhao City geography practice training,summed up the shortcomings of geography practice training: the school is short of funds and lacks the hardware facilities to develop the geography practical ability;geography practice class setting is less;some teachers do not pay enough attention to the cultivation of high school students’ practical ability in geography,lack of ability to carry out geography practical activities,and lack of experience in carrying out geography practical teaching;the students’ grasp of practical knowledge of geography is not firm,the frequency of participating in practical activities of geography is less,and the practical accomplishment of geography is not high.According to the present situation of training,three training strategies are put forward to improve students’ practical ability of geography,namely,based on teaching,expanding students’ practical approaches and exerting the advantages of local geography resources.The three training strategies include the following ten aspects: first,increase the geographical activity hours,change the teaching mode;Second,strengthen students’ geography practical knowledge and skill guidance;Thirdly,we should take multiple measures to improve teachers’ practical accomplishment of geography.Fourthly,the reasonable design of geography practical activities;Fifth,to establish a scientific and effective evaluation system of geographical practice;Sixth,improve the geography practical facilities and places on campus;Seventh,to develop off-campus practice bases;Eighth,excavating local geographical resources and carrying out geographical experiments;Ninth,carry out research activities,carry out field investigation of rural geography;Tenth,based on local geographical resources,to carry out geographical survey activities.At the same time,the activity cases are designed: one is the field investigation of landform,soil and vegetation of Mountain Wulian—Mountain Jiuxian National Geopark;the other is the investigation of air pollution in Rizhao City.This study builds a platform that is more conducive to the improvement of students’ practical ability in geography,and helps students’ lifelong development. |
