| Geography practice ability is an important part of geography core literacy,and geography experiment is an important way to train students’ geography practice ability.It is particularly important to study how to train geography practice ability through geography experiment and implement it into teaching.Based on the characteristics of the subject,through the questionnaire survey to understand the status quo and existing problems of the cultivation of high school students’ geographical practical ability,put forward the cultivation strategy of geographical practical ability based on geographical experiment and put it into practice,carry out geographical experiment and experimental teaching to verify the effectiveness of the cultivation of geographical practical ability,in order to provide reference for the geographical experimental teaching.Through the research,the main understanding and conclusions are as follows:(1)Through the questionnaire survey,it is found that students have a strong interest in the geography experiment teaching,but there are few students who have really participated in the geography experiment teaching;The level of geographic practice ability of students is relatively low;Teachers have a high degree of recognition of the practical ability of geography experimental teaching and can train students in many aspects.However,most teachers carry out geography experiment teaching less times,and there are many factors affecting geography experiment teaching.The main reasons affecting geography experiment teaching are limited teaching time,imperfection of experiment facilities and materials,lack of experiment funds and so on.(2)Put forward different training strategies for the classification of geographical practical ability,and build a system of cultivating geographical practical ability through geographical experimental teaching.One is to clarify the object and purpose of observation,and understand the object of observation in advance;Clearly observe the steps,time record;Contact daily life and local material,train students’ observation and analysis ability.The second is to clarify the purpose of the experiment;Rigorously design the experimental process;Improve the equipment and management of geographical experiment;Strengthen the geography experiment training for teachers,as well as inter-school exchanges and cooperation;Carry out the experiment flexibly,increase the experiment frequency,train the student’s geographical experiment ability.Third,make clear the object and purpose of the investigation;Develop a detailed investigation plan;Diversified evaluation of survey results to cultivate students’ geographical survey ability.Fourth,by teaching students the basic tool use methods;Provide students with the opportunity to choose tools freely and improve their ability to use tools.Fifth,through the establishment of study groups,reasonable grouping,assignment of tasks to urge each other,common progress,training students’ teamwork ability.(3)The strategy of cultivating students’ practical ability in geography experiment teaching is applied to practical teaching by means of erosion and accumulation geomorphology of flowing water,verification experiment of "returning to south Sky" and perceptual experiment of plants and environment.The conclusion shows that the strategy is effective in cultivating students’ practical ability in geography. |
