With the development of the process of globalization,the trend of globalization of education resources is becoming more obvious.So the institutions of transnational higher education were been founding.As a product of the development of higher education at the advanced stage,the International Branch Campuses(IBCs)have many unique advantages in the training of international talents.Many powerful countries,such as Britain,the United States,France,Australia and Russia have set up a large number of international branch campuses in other countries.The IBCs are regarded as an important institution of the training of international talents,external trade,cultural exchanges and the output of the country’s influence for many countries.The "going out" of higher education has just started in China.The establishment of the IBCs is still in the exploratory stage.So it is great significance to learn the training mode of the IBCs of the developed countries for the training of international talents in China’s higher education.The level of internationalization of higher education in Australia is among the best in the world.In the long run of international practice,many Australian universities have established dozens of the IBCs in Southeast Asia,Middle East,Africa and other countries.The IBCs are becoming more perfect in the talent training concept,training process,training system and training evaluation,and formed a mature mode of talent training.The number of enrollment in the IBCs has increased in successive years,and the quality of talent training has been steadily improved.It is great significance to study the talent training model of the IBCs of Australian universities for the development of the China’s IBCs.The research uses the literature research method,case study method and comparative study method.On the basis of the analysis of the development factors,the development history and the development status of the IBCs of Australian universities,the paper makes a systematic analysis and research on the training objectives,professional courses,teaching system,teaching organization form,teaching management mode,invisible curriculum form and teaching evaluation mode of the IBCs.The research shows that the IBCs of Australian universities pay attention to the training of applied talents,build a perfect system for training talents,focus on arousing the enthusiasm of students and establish a diversified evaluation system for talent training.The talent training mode of IBCs of Australian universities is worth learning the China’s IBCs,although there are some problems and shortcomings in some aspects.The IBCs of our country should base itself on its own characteristics and combine its own characteristics,learn foreign advanced talent training experience,and then truly enhance the level of internationalization of higher education.
