With the development of geography core accomplishment in senior high school,it is the responsibility and mission of teachers in the new era to cultivate high quality and comprehensive talents.Geography teachers should not only teach students cultural knowledge,teach students how to learn,how to learn independently,but also cultivate students' problem consciousness.Therefore,in order to understand the current situation of high school geography problem teaching,find out its existing problems,explore its reasons,and put forward a targeted solution strategy,the author based on the new curriculum standards of high school geography problem teaching has carried on the research.The main content of this paper is divided into four parts altogether six chapters: the first part,inductive analysis part.Through the method of literature analysis,the essence of problem-based teaching is recognized,and the present situation and theoretical basis of problem-based teaching are sorted out.This paper expounds the practical significance and connotation of problem-based teaching,and makes a comparative analysis between problem-based teaching and problem-based teaching with PBL model.The second part is the part of investigation and analysis.By using the SPSS statistical technology,this paper makes a questionnaire survey on senior high school students and senior high school geography teachers,analyzes the present situation of high school students' problem consciousness and the current situation of problem teaching in senior high school geography teaching,and analyzes the current situation of high school students' problem awareness and teaching in senior high the school level elaborates the existing problems and reasons respectively.The third part,"Inquiry Strategy",summarizes the teaching principles of problem-based teaching by analyzing the current situation of problem-based teaching in senior high school geography teaching,and puts forward corresponding strategies from student level,teacher level and school level respectively.The fourth part is the case design part.Two teaching cases of geography problem teaching in senior high school are designed according to examples.They are "Why there will be Meiyu in summer in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River" and "Why Harbin City,Heilongjiang Province holds Ice and Snow Festival".It provides a reference for the senior high school geography teachers to understand and implement the problem-based teaching,and to contribute to the establishment of the problem-based teaching case base.Finally,the author has made the corresponding summary and the ponder to this research,any teaching mode is not omnipotent,the geography teacher should make clear this point,must treat the question teaching this kind of teaching pattern rationally.
