In recent years,with the gradual deepening of the basic education curriculum reforms,Chinese teaching in primary schools has achieved many expected results.However,under the new era background,there is still room for further optimization in the teaching of Chinese in primary schools.Throughout the teaching practice,it is not difficult to find that the current teaching evaluation mostly follows the traditional evaluation concept and adopts the traditional evaluation method.That is to say,the teacher is the subject of evaluation,relying on the written examination to evaluate the student through quantification by score.This kind of evaluation concept and method make the students eventually become the carrier of scores,and students are hard to get free and personalized development.Traditional teaching evaluation have to make corresponding changes.Otherwise,evaluation may fail to become a means of leading teaching to become effective and promoting the development of students,but become a tool for harming students and alienating students.Based on the characteristics of primary school Chinese teaching and the law of cognitive psychology of primary school students,the author believes that performance evaluation can effectively avoid the drawbacks of traditional teaching evaluation,and then promote the effectiveness of primary school Chinese teaching.Based on this,the paper intends to study the performance evaluation from two aspects of its theory and practice,and it is divided into four parts:The first part mainly introduces the research reasons,research subjects,research ideas and methods,research significance,and analyzes the research status at home and abroad.The second part mainly adopts the literature method,interprets the connotation and characteristics of performance evaluation,reviews the theoretical basis of performance evaluation,and analyzes its theoretical research value and practical application value,which lays a theoretical foundation for the study of this paper.The third part mainly adopts research methods,and investigates the application status of performance evaluation in Chinese teaching in primary schools.The survey found that: on the cognitive level,many teachers lack rational understanding of the connotation,purpose,and evaluation subject of performance evaluation.On the implementation level,there is still a lot of room for development in the establishment of evaluation situation,evaluation criteria and effective performance evaluation.The fourth part: based on the investigation of the status quo of performance evaluation,the application principles and procedures have been specifically proposed.And based on this,collaborating with front-line teachers to develop and design teaching cases to illustrate the feasibility of the application of performance evaluation in Chinese teaching in primary schools.
