The history of literature and art,including the history of literature and the history of art,is an important teaching content of cultural history in the third required history textbook in senior high school.The content of literature and art history in the textbook covers both Chinese traditional literature and art and world's literature and art as well.It also touches upon the basic literary and artistic categories.Students are given the chance to be exposed to China's splendid traditional literature and art,feel painstaking experience in which Chinese people have struggled for ever since the modern times,and also let students have a better understanding of literature and art in the world.It is the most basic value of history teaching to enrich students' literary knowledge and to improve students' quality in history.With the teaching of literary history and the appreciation of literary and artistic works,the aesthetic appeal of students is rising,the human feelings are enriched,and horizon is broadened.It also helps students set a global consciousness.The teaching of literature and art history is of great significance in modern society which advocates quality education.However,through classroom observation and questionnaire survey,I have found that in the normal history classroom,it's common to see that the history of literary is ignored and the history features and literature features are not shown very well.It shows as follows: the teaching content is usually taught without innovation,and students seldom participate in the process of teaching.Meanwhile,students are lack of value guidance and emotion sublimation.The cause of the ignorance of art history is relatively complex.Partly because the teaching purpose is easily driven by the utilitarian purpose,and there is also a lack of teachers' cultural literacy.And that the arrangement textbooks is not reasonable also contributes to its ignorance.The deviation of teaching objectives and teaching methods are to blame for the unsatisfactory effect of literature and art history teaching.Classroom is the main front of teaching,and teachers play an important role in it.To improve art history teaching,teachers must change themselves first.Teachers should change ideas and pay more attention to literary history.Moreover,teachers shouldstrengthen the knowledge and enhance their cultural literacy.Teachers should focus more on reviewing the teaching plan according to real situation by reorganizing the teaching resources.Teachers should have clear value leading consciousness,which is the only way to enhance the humanistic value of art history material,highlighting the leading role.Teachers should try to create a positive classroom experience,design proper activities,and encourage students to participate in it.The improve history classroom is of great benefit to help students to understand the specific literary facts,to correct their understanding of the image and the background of the times,and to help them learn to scientifically recognize the diversity of civilization in order to enrich their learning experience and wisdom of life.
