Aesthetic literacy is an important part of high school students' core literacy,and the cultivation of aesthetic literacy of high school students is mainly achieved through art education.High school students' aesthetic literacy refers to the relatively stable quality or self-cultivation of high school students through study and practice.It is mainly composed of aesthetic knowledge,aesthetic taste,aesthetic ability and aesthetic ideal.Cultivating high school students' aesthetic literacy helps high school students reduce the pressure on learning,improve their moral sentiment,and develop their wisdom potential.And it also helps high school carry out national education purpose as well as to promote social progress.In recent years,Huaiyin Senior High School has conducted a great deal of practice and exploration in the cultivation of aesthetic literacy of high school students through art education,and has achieved remarkable results.Based on the empirical research and case study,this paper makes a comparative systematic study on the practice of cultivating high school students' aesthetic literacy through art education.Through the research,the author believes that the experience of cultivating high school students' aesthetic literacy through art education in Huaiyin Senior High School is mainly manifested in the following five aspects: first,to cultivate the aesthetic literacy of high school students by creating campus art environment;second,to cultivate the aesthetic literacy of high school students by optimizing art classroom teaching;third,to cultivate the aesthetic literacy of high school students by perfecting the art course system;fourth,to cultivate the aesthetic literacy of high school students by strengthening the art education guarantee;fifth,to cultivate the aesthetic literacy of high school students by setting up various art clubs.The accomplishments that Huaiyin Senior High School has achieved on cultivating students' aesthetic literacy through art education are mainly embodied in the following aspects: first,students win high praise when they are invited to perform abroad;second,students get good grades in provincial art competitions;third,the students' aesthetic literacy is fully affirmed by the leaders of the country;and fourth,students' aesthetic literacy is recognized by major universities.The future efforts of Huaiyin Senior High School to train the aesthetic literacy of high school students through art education are mainly to track the development of the alumni's aesthetic literacy and improve the practical art education,systematically studythe aesthetic literacy structure of high school students to strengthen the target orientation of school art education,make great efforts to expand the art education coverage to foster the aesthetic quality of all high school students in the school,and pay more attention to training the art education quality of non-art teachers.
