Formation of teaching wisdom helps teachers to promote their teaching level,enables the teaching activities to proceed successfully,stimulates students' intelligent,and has a good influence on the harmonious development of classroom instruction.Especially when our country's reform of elementary education comes into a new period when the core literacy plays a main role,it is more essential for teachers to form teaching wisdom in order to realize the organic integration of theory and practice and the harmonious formation of teaching activities.However,regarding the current situation,most teachers in our country's junior high schools still have the poverty of teaching wisdom,which is reflected in teaching aims on which most teachers have an excessive concentration.In addition,among teachers most of whom have a strong belief on the textbook,which results in a tendency of an one-way,linear instruction of knowledge in class.In respect of the evaluation of students,most teachers only base on nothing but the test scores.As for these phenomenons and problems,necessary consideration should be made to analysis the cause.Alfred North Whitehead,an English philosopher in the 20 th century,is best known for his philosophical school known as process philosophy which today has found application to a wide variety of disciplines and have become widespread in the academic field.Based on process philosophy and Whitehead's views of the wisdom,this paper aims to analysis and generalize the problems of poverty of teaching wisdom among most teachers in our country's junior high school,as well as to discover instructive approach to deal with such problems.This paper is organized into five chapters.In the instruction of this paper,the origin,purpose and significance of formation of teaching wisdom in perspective of process philosophy is presented,followed with concept definition,literature review,research content,research methods as well as the innovation of this paper.Chapter 2 introduces Whitehead's opinion of connotation in respect of the definition of “wisdom”.Chapter 3 examines the theoretical basis of formation of teaching wisdom.There are three factors which are closely related with formation of teaching wisdom:prehensions theory,correlation principle and process principle.Chapter 4 generalizes the causes of poverty of wisdom of teachers,which is mainly embodied in teaching aims,teaching procedures and evaluation of students.The causes are both from aspects of teachers and the institutions such as schools and other social levels.Chapter 5 proposes the approach to formation of teaching wisdom based on teachers,schools and society.In terms of teachers,a difference should be made.As for schools,they should establish an environment where the formation of teaching wisdom has the possibilities.And in regard of society,the cooperation of school and society should be further developed.
