Warehousing occupies a very important position in logistics and supply chain, and has an important role in the production of manufacturing enterprise, the third party logistics enterprise and production distribution center. According to statistics, in all warehouse operation, picking accounted for 50%-75% cost of the whole warehouse operation. Order picking is an operation project which is in response to customers' demand, and to collect the goods from a storage area or buffer. In the storage system, the artificial operation order picking is the most consumed labor movement link. However, in the automatic warehouse, that is the most consumed resource cost of operation. In order to minimize the cost of picking, we need to make storage allocation in the warehouse.This dissertation is mainly based on HGTech Center Internet of Things as the background which studies strategy of storage allocation suitable for the center. This dissertation implements the informationization and digitization of warehouse management. Warehouse management system studies mainly from the in-warehouse storage allocation which is based on product frequency and out-warehouse storage allocation which is based on deviation ratio. Storage allocation of warehouse management system focuses on the following questions:(1) Product frequency would be the main consideration when products are put in the warehouse. The traditional allocation optimization only optimized out-warehousing distribution, and the study for in-warehouse allocation optimization is few.(2) Order picking strategy uses the results of in-warehousing storage allocation to retrieve. Then pick products based on deviation degree of channel access strategy when picking point location is determined. Traditional storage allocation did not combine in-warehousing storage allocation with order picking strategy. This dissertation mainly studies storage allocation optimization that combines in-warehousing with order picking strategy.Storage allocation in the warehouse management system occupies an important position in the whole warehouse operation, results of storage allocation not only affects the result of the warehouse operation efficiency and cost of the entire warehouse, but also affects the control and management of products in warehouse. Reasonable strategy of storage allocation can not only take the convenience to warehouse workers management inventory, but also can improve the efficiency of the warehouse, and save the cost of the enterprise. Strategy of storage allocation which is based on produce frequency and deviation ratio guarantee the shortest distance of picking, and reduce the forklift walking distance, improve the efficiency of warehouse selection, reduce the warehouse cost.
