As an important link in human resources of hotel management, sarff training increasingly shows the importance in fierce market competition today. But actually, many Chinese star-rated hotels haven't set up rigorous plans, nor have they been incorporated into strict systems and regulations. The neglect of establishing a scientific training system leads to the lack of systematic training in many hotels, which also does barely palpable training effects.Chosen Hotel A as the subject, this paper elaborates on tne development strategy, enviroment, human resources and current situation of Hotel A's staff training, by using the basic training theories. Through analying the exsiting problems about Hotel A's staff training, the author indicates that the staff training of Hotel A is short of a overall plan for needed staff at the macro-level, but been trapped in detailed work; at the micro-level, the various functional modules are not perfect or even short, and besides, the degree of planing and executing specialization is not enough. At the basic of systematic analysis, the paper proproses a total solution for Hotel A's staff training, including having training targets, implementation and management processes, support systems and so on, which can help the staff training better serve to the hotel development, and simultaneous development of the staff. And it also helps the hotel lay a solid foundation and continued growth.
